Our Quality Guarantee
MeritPeer's commitment to quality — free re-review guarantee, missed turnaround refunds, and clear cancellation terms.
MeritPeer stands behind every review we deliver. If we fall short of our turnaround commitment or quality standard, we make it right — always.
Free Re-Review Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with the quality of your review for any substantive reason, you may request a free re-review within 7 days of delivery. Your manuscript will be reassigned to a senior reviewer and re-delivered within 5 business days at no charge.
To request a re-review: review@meritpeer.com with your order number and specific concerns.
Missed Turnaround — Full Refund
If MeritPeer fails to deliver your review within the agreed turnaround window (48hrs Express / 5-day Standard / 10-day Normal), you are automatically entitled to either:
- • A full refund of the amount paid, or
- • Free expedited re-delivery at our highest priority (within 24 hours)
The choice is entirely yours. We do not dispute valid turnaround failures.
Completed Reviews
Completed reviews are non-refundable unless:
- • The review report is demonstrably incomplete (missing required sections)
- • The reviewer's expertise is evidently mismatched to your manuscript's discipline
- • The review contains plagiarised content or was not produced by a verified reviewer
In these cases, contact us within 7 days of delivery with specific evidence and we will investigate immediately.
Cancellations Before Assignment
You may cancel your order for a full refund at any time before reviewer assignment (typically within 2–4 hours of order confirmation). Once a reviewer has been assigned and NDA signed, cancellation is not available as reviewer compensation is committed.

Editing & Support Services
For English editing, plagiarism detection, AI detection, formatting, and statistical review services: the same turnaround guarantee and re-work policy applies. Completed editing work is non-refundable unless demonstrably incomplete or inaccurate.
Processing Refunds
Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 business days to your original payment method. Bank transfer refunds may take up to 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email when the refund is initiated.
